This is the summary of what our groups have been involved with during February 2023.

We currently have 23 dogs in our care, of whom 3 are reserved.

We had one flight on 26 February for 4 dogs, 3 of which went to forever homes and 1 into UK foster. Two other dogs in UK foster have also now been adopted. We currently have 5 dogs in UK foster 2 of which are reserved subject to home check.

Our next flight will be on the 26th of March and we are in the process of arranging which dogs will be travelling on it.

We donated £150 to help 1 pointer in the care another Cyprus based rescue organisation. We also donated £500 to Paws 4 homes foundation, and paid our outstanding Cyprus vet and kennel bills the total amount of which was 5842.50 euros.

We received £3143.30 from the Apollo unwanted gift auction, £369.55 from Jan’s bonus ball fundraisers, £25 from Ashcroft Animal Accessories, £500 from the sale of some medications donated by Sandra
Tweedie, £105 from Nicola’s card sales, £81 from Karen Greenhaff and her work colleagues, £125 from the sale of a dog bed kindly donated by Nina Coomber, and £20 in general donations.

The February winner of our monthly draw who wins a Christine Cummings ceramic sculpture in our Pay It Forward fundraising event is Karen Greenhaff.

Across our three facebook groups (Rehoming Cyprus Pointers, Apollo’s Angels and Apollo’s Angels Events) 273 new members joined and there were a total of 26,983 posts, comments and reactions during February.

The next summary will be posted 1st April.
