This is the summary of what our groups have been involved with during January 2023.

We currently have 22 dogs in our care, of whom 6 are reserved.
We had one flight on 22 January for 7 dogs two of which went to forever homes and 5 into UK foster one of whom is now reserved. Two other dogs in UK foster have also now been adopted. We currently have 7 dogs in UK foster.

Our next flight will be on the 26th of February and we are in the process of arranging which dogs will be travelling on it.

We donated £480 to help 4 pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue organisations.
We received £1294.29 from the Save a penny save a life fundraiser, £333 from Jan’s bonus ball fundraisers, £15 Ashcroft Animal Accessories, £10 from Lisa’s pocket pouches, £165 from Lottie Long legs, £200 from June Goldsmith in memory of Bowler, £3955 from the sale of our 2023 calendar and Christmas cards, and £155 in general donations.

The Apollo unwanted gift auction ends 1st February and the total amount raised with be announced in next months summary.

The January winner of our monthly draw who wins a Christine Cummings ceramic sculpture in our Pay It Forward fundraising event is Jan Gurney.

Across our three Facebook groups (Rehoming Cyprus Pointers, Apollo’s Angels and Apollo’s Angels Events) 233 new members joined and there were a total of 32,688 posts, comments and reactions during January.
