This is the summary of what our groups have been involved with during September 2022.

We currently have 20 dogs in our care, of whom 2 are reserved.

We had three direct flights in September for 11 dogs, 10 of whom had forever homes in place and one dog went into UK foster. One dog we originally rehomed nearly 2 years ago became available again due to a change in the adopters circumstances and we moved him to a foster home. We currently have 4 dogs in UK foster, one of whom is reserved.
Our next flight is on 20 October for 3 dogs.

We paid our Cyprus vet bill the total of which was 2346 euros. We donated £300 to help 3 pointers in the care of other Cyprus rescue organisations. We also donated £250 to Nicosia Dog Shelter to help with some puppies they had taken in and £250 to Little Ranch Rescue.
We received £324.50 from Jan’s bonus ball fundraisers, £10 from Ashcroft Animal Accessories, £75 from Sam Kelly, £100 from Linda Smith, £36 from Jane Kyle MacLeod’s birthday fundraiser, £26 from Scarlett Barley, £225 from Annabel Gunn’s Cornwall Apollo meet up, £16 from Carol White and £55 in general donations.

We began a fundraiser raffle for Moose and also started the Apollo virtual Christmas market.

Our 2023 calendar and three new Christmas card designs will be on sale shortly.

The September winner of the monthly draw who wins a Christine Cummings ceramic sculpture in our Pay It Forward fundraising event is Janice Rowbury.

Across our three facebook groups (Rehoming Cyprus Pointers, Apollo’s Angels and Apollo’s Angels Events) 351 new members joined and there were a total of 33,793 posts, comments and reactions during September.

The next summary will be posted 1st November.
