This is the summary of what our groups have been involved with during December 2022.
We currently have 18 dogs in our care, of whom 3 are reserved.
We had one flight on 18 December for 4 dogs one of which went to his forever home and 3 into UK foster. Two of those dogs have now been adopted by their foster families. One other dog in UK foster has also now been adopted. We currently have 3 dogs in UK foster, one of which is reserved subject to home check.
Our next flight will be on the 22nd of January and we are currently in the process of arranging which dogs will be travelling on it.
We paid our Cyprus vet and kennel bill the total of which was 5901.50 euros. We also donated £450 to help 3 pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue organisations.
We received £6113 from the Apollo Christmas Auction, £709 from Jan’s bonus ball fundraisers, £13 from Ashcroft Animal Accessories, £10 from Lisa’s pocket pouches, £105 from Richard Hayes, £50 from Juno Houghton, £50 from Annabel Gunn, £120 from John Byron, £200 from Krithia Blaker, £50 from Sally Hall, £100 from Susannah Hines, £200 from Charmain Anderson and £85 in general donations.
We are just finalising the 2022 Save a Penny save a life fundraiser and also the 2023 calendars and Christmas card sales and the total amount raised from those two events will be announced in our next summary.

The December winner of our monthly draw who wins a Christine Cummings ceramic sculpture in our Pay It Forward fundraising event is June Goldsmith.
Across our three facebook groups (Rehoming Cyprus Pointers, Apollo’s Angels and Apollo’s Angels Events) 196 new members joined and there were a total of 30,549 posts, comments and reactions during December.
The total number of dogs rehomed by us during 2022 is 86, and in addition that that we donated £5910 to help 49 pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue organisations.
We would like to thank everyone for all their help and support during 2022 and look forward to an equally busy 2023.
