This is the summary of what our groups have been involved with during June 2023.

We currently have 27 dogs in our care, 7 of whom are reserved at the present time.
We had one flight on 4 June for 6 dogs one of which had a forever home, 5 went into UK foster and 4 have now been rehomed.
We have one flight on 7 July for 4 dogs, 2 of which are going to forever homes and 2 into UK foster.

We donated £420 to help 3 pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue organisations. We paid our outstanding Cyprus vet and kennel bills the total amount of which was 5806 euros. We also donated £200 to the street dog/cat neuter and release community North Cyprus which paid for 4 stray dogs to be neutered.

We received £410 from Graeme Blenkiron’s 60th birthday fundraiser, £645 from Shona Crawfords kilt walk, £710 from Mark Gibsons Mark’s magic miles fundraiser, £60 from Nicola’s card sales, £243 from Jan’s bonus ball fundraisers, £5 from Ashcroft Animal Accessories and £20 in general donations.

The Apollo 10 year anniversary mega raffle started in June, and the Apollo photo competition ends 31 July.The winning entries from the photo competition will feature in our 2024 calendar which will go on sale later this year along with our Christmas cards.


The monthly winner of our Pay It Forward event who wins a pet portrait by Lisa Harris fine art is Jackie Jasper.

Across our three facebook groups (Rehoming Cyprus Pointers, Apollo’s Angels and Apollo’s Angels Events) 247 new members joined and there were a total of 23,390 posts, comments and reactions during June.
