This is the summary of what our groups have been involved with during July 2023.

We currently have 27 dogs in our care, 4 of whom are reserved at the present time.
We had one flight on 7 July for 4 dogs, 2 of which had forever homes, 2 went into UK foster and one of those has now been rehomed. We currently have 2 dogs in UK foster.

Our next flight is on the 27th of August and we are in the process of arranging which dogs will be travelling on it.
We donated £670 to help 6 pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue organisations.
We paid our outstanding Cyprus vet and kennel bills the total amount of which was 4789 euros.
We also donated £200 to the street dog/cat neuter and release community North Cyprus which paid for 4 stray dogs to be neutered.

We received £6625 from Tracy’s Apollo 10 yr anniversary mega raffle, £313 from Jan’s bonus ball fundraisers, £100 from Paypal giving fund, £90 from Lottie Long Legs and £20 in general donations.
Nicola’s raffle to help pay Solo’s vet bills began in July and ends 5 August.

The Apollo photo competition ended 31 July. The winning entries from the photo competition will feature in our 2024 calendar which will go on sale later this year along with our Christmas cards.

The monthly winner of our Pay It Forward event who wins a pet portrait by Lisa Harris fine art is Caroline Gordon .
Across our three facebook groups (Rehoming Cyprus Pointers, Apollo’s Angels and Apollo’s Angels Events) 164 new members joined and there were a total of 24,015 posts, comments and reactions during July.
