This is the summary of what our groups have been involved with during April 2022.

We currently have 28 dogs in our care, of whom 7 are reserved.
We have one flight 2 May for 6 dogs, 5 of whom have forever homes in place and one will be going into foster in Cornwall. We currently have 2 more dogs in UK foster. One dog in UK foster moved to his new home in April.
We donated 450 euros to help 3 pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue groups. We also donated £100 to purchase water bowls for the Gonyeli shelter, and 1365 euros to purchase flea, tick and wormers for Nicosia Dog Shelter. We paid a Cyprus vet bill of 250 euros, and spent £120 on travel crate returns.
We received £4230 from the Apollo spring raffle and would like to thank everyone who bought tickets and also thank you to Tracy for organising the event.
We received £307 from Jan’s bonus ball fundraisers, £175 from the puppy name sponsorships, £20 from Ashcroft Animal Accessories, £70 from Lottie Long Legs, £200 from Adam Dunn, £161.93 from Easyfundraising, and £50 in general donations.

The UK donated goods we received that were forwarded to Take Away The Tears were sent over to Cyprus in April and they will be distributed to various small shelters and pounds across the island.
We will be starting our 2022 photo competition shortly and all the winning entries will feature in our 2023 calendar. More details about the competition and how to enter will be announced shortly.
The April winner of the monthly draw who wins a Christine Cummings ceramic sculpture in our Pay It Forward fundraising event is Tracy Payne.
