This is the summary of what our charity has been involved with during January 2025.

We currently have 28 dogs in our care, 8 of whom are reserved at the present time.

We had one flight on 12 January for 11 dogs, 4 of which had homes in place and 7 went into UK foster. 4 of those have now been rehomed and 2 currently reserved. We currently have 1 dog in UK foster that is still available. 3 other dogs in UK foster were rehomed during January.
The next flight will be on 23 February and we are currently arranging which dogs will be travelling on it.

We paid our outstanding Cyprus vet bill the total amount of which was 4113.50 euros. We also paid a UK vet fee of £232.77.
We donated £250 to the North Cyprus street dog neutering programme, and £350 for 2 pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue organisations.

We received £1345.50 from the save a penny save a life fundraiser, £327 from Jan’s Bonus ball, £40 from Annabel Gunn’s quilt sales, £100 from Liz Veasey, £145 from Lottie Long Legs, £25 from Ashcroft Animal Accessories, and £60 in general donations.

The monthly winner of our Pay it forward event who wins a pet portrait commission will be announced shortly.

The Apollo unwanted gift auction and Apollo 2026 calendar pin up competitions both end on 3 February.
