This is the summary of what our charity has been involved with during February 2025.

We currently have 27 dogs in our care, 6 of whom are reserved at the present time.

We had one flight on 23 February for 8 dogs, 6 of which had homes in place and 2 went into UK foster. 1 of those has now been rehomed and the other is currently reserved subject to home check. We currently have 3 dogs in UK foster two of whom are reserved. 2 other dogs in UK foster were rehomed during February.

The next flight will be on 23 March and we are currently arranging which dogs will be travelling on it.

We paid our outstanding Cyprus kennel bill the total amount of which was 7020.50 euros.

We donated £250 to the North Cyprus street dog neutering programme, and £850 for 6 pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue organisations.

We received £2866.75 from the Apollo unwanted gift auction, £800 from Nicola’s valentine raffle, £295 from Jan’s Bonus ball, £30 from Annabel Gunn’s donated ticket sale, £50 from Helen Morgan, £25 from Ashcroft Animal Accessories, £290.52 from PayPal Giving Fund, £376.58 from Easyfundraising, £88.50 from Blackford K9 dog training group, £410 in entry fees for the Apollo calendar cover photo comp, and £20 in general donations.

The monthly winner of our Pay it forward event who wins a Mollies pet keepsakes pointer door stop commission is Jayne Evans.
Across our three Facebook groups (Rehoming Cyprus Pointers, Apollo’s Angels and Apollo’s Angels Events) 185 new members joined and there were a total of 21,180 posts, comments and reactions during February.
