This is the summary of what our groups have been involved with during November 2021.

We currently have 29 dogs in our care, of whom 10 are reserved.

We have one flight 5 December for 10 dogs 8 of whom had forever homes in place, and two will be going into UK foster. Two dogs we had in UK foster were rehomed during November. Our next flight will be 16 January 2022.

We donated £350 to help four pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue organisations and donated 500 euros to Annie’s Animal Ark. We paid our outstanding Cyprus vet and kennel bills at a total cost of 4521 Euros. We also spent £348 on travel crate returns.

We received £253 from Nina’s bonus ball fundraisers, £57.75 from Nina’s treat box sales, £210 from Nicola’s scratch card fundraiser, £25 from Ashcroft Animal Accessories, £36 from Lisa Cook’s pocket pouch sales, £28.50 from branded merchandise sales, £60 from Karen Greenhaff purple poppy sales, £247.10 from Catherine Jones birthday fundraiser, £150 from Rachael Fox, £100 from Martina Brown, £59 from Deborah Meade, £59 from Julie Bell and £80 in general donations.

The Apollo Christmas auction ended in November and the total amount raised was an amazing £7860.04. We would like to thank everyone who donated and bought the items available and Tracy for doing a fabulous job organising it all.

The November winner of the monthly draw who wins a Christine Cummings ceramic sculpture in our Pay It Forward fundraising event is Lou Brogdon.

Our 2022 calendar and Christmas cards are now available and all orders received to date are now being posted out.

Across our three facebook groups (Rehoming Cyprus Pointers, Apollo’s Angels and Apollo’s Angels Events) there were a total of 42,185 posts, comments and reactions during November.

The next summary will be posted 1st January.
