We currently have 20 dogs under our care, 6 of whom are reserved. Due to the COVID-19 travel restrictions, we are however unable to say at the present time when we will be able to bring the reserved dogs to their new UK homes. During March, we brought a total of 13 dogs to the UK on 2 flights, 9 of which went to forever homes and 4 into foster homes. 2 of the dogs in foster have been rehomed and we currently have 2 dogs remaining in UK foster at the moment. We had arranged to bring 5 dogs to the UK on the 1st April, but this was cancelled due to COVID-19.

We also had one dog we originally rehomed in 2019 who became available again due to a change in his family’s circumstances. We found a new home for him and he moved there last week.

We paid our outstanding Cyprus vet and kennel bills at a total cost of 9654 euros. We also donated a total of 700 euros to help 5 pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue organisations and a further 250 euros to Nicosia Dog Shelter.

Due to COVID-19 we have unfortunately had to cancel the Apollo’s big reunion, which had been planned for 16 May but we hope re arrange it for a later date.

We launched a new range of our own label Apollo’s Angels dog food called Superfood 65. During March, we saw a huge demand for our dog food and whilst orders are still going out, they are taking a few days longer than normal to arrive. If you do wish to place an order please plan ahead and allow approximately one week for delivery. Please visit our Facebook page, or our website for more information, or if you wish to place an order:

We welcomed 126 new members to our three groups (Rehoming Cyprus Pointers, Apollo’s Angels and Apollo’s Angels Events) during March, and there were a total of 31,900 posts, comments and reactions in those groups during March.

The next summary will be posted 1st May.
