Here is the summary of what our groups have been involved with during February 2021.

We currently have 23 dogs in our care, of whom 14 are reserved.

We had two flights during February for a total of 15 dogs, all of whom had forever homes in place. One dog we originally rehomed in 2014 became available again. We moved her into UK foster and subsequently found her a new home.
We have one flight 18 March for 13 dogs all of whom have forever homes in place.
We paid our outstanding Cyprus vet and kennel bills at a total cost of 13098 euros. We also spent 2228.63 euros on a bulk buy deal of flea and tick treatments for the Cyprus kennels.

We donated £200 to help two pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue organisations. We also donated a bag of Apollo dog food value £59.99 to the Gonyeli shelter auction.

We received £4331.50 from the Apollo unwanted gift auction, £62 from Lisa’s pocket pouch sales, £160 from Nicola’s cards fundraiser, and £215 in general donations.

We launched a new range of branded merchandise featuring the Apollo’s Angels logo and also teamed up again with Take Away The Tears and we hope to send a total of 165 x 15kg bags of Apollo dog food to Cyprus at the end of March. The food will be distributed around a number of shelters and pounds on the island. We had 50 bags kindly donated by GA the manufacturers of our food, and we also have to date received sponsorship of 35 bags by group members.

We welcomed 482 new members to our three groups (Rehoming Cyprus Pointers, Apollo’s Angels and Apollo’s Angels Events). There were a total of 61,657 posts, comments and reactions in those three groups during February.

The next summary will be posted 1st April.
