This is the summary of what our groups have been involved with during June 2021.

We currently have 27 dogs in our care, of whom 11 are reserved.
We had three dogs in UK foster, two of whom moved to their forever homes and the remaining one is reserved and will be going to her new home shortly.

We had one flight 4 June for 13 dogs all of whom had forever homes in place. Our next flight is 11 July for 8 dogs, 6 of whom have homes in place and the remaining 2 dogs will be going into UK foster.

We donated £330 to help three pointers in the care of other Cyprus based rescue organisations. We also paid our outstanding Cyprus vet and kennel bills the total of which was 5826 euros.

We received £210 from Nicola’s scratch card fundraiser, £1160 from Nina’s Bank Holiday Bonanza raffle, £30 from Ashcroft Animal Accessories and £225 in general donations. We received donations totalling £400 from group members to purchase plastic dog baths which will be sent out to Cyprus shortly. We also received £100 from a collection at the funeral of one of our adopters Helen MacGregor who sadly passed away at the end of May. We had moved her dog Connie into foster whilst Helen was In hospital, we subsequently found a new home for Connie and she moved there during June.

The June winner of the monthly draw who wins a Christine Cummings ceramic sculpture in our Pay It Forward fundraising event is Clare Sebo.
Our annual photo competition is in progress and ends 1st August. The winning entries from it will feature in our 2022 calendar which will go on sale later this year along with three new Christmas card designs.

We welcomed 210 new members to our three groups (Rehoming Cyprus Pointers, Apollo’s Angels and Apollo’s Angels Events). There were a total of 45,926 posts, comments and reactions in those three groups during June.

The next summary will be posted 1st August.
