Here is the summary of what our groups have been involved with during April 2021.

We currently have 27 dogs in our care, of whom 12 are reserved.
We had two flights during April for a total of 13 dogs, 12 of whom had forever homes in place and one dog went into UK foster in Kent.
One dog in UK foster moved to his forever home, and two dogs we had previously rehomed became available again and they are currently in foster in Bristol and Hertfordshire and one of them is now reserved subject to home check.

We have one flight 3 June for 12 dogs all of whom have forever homes in place.
We paid our outstanding Cyprus vet and kennel bills at a total cost of 8099 euros.
We donated £550 to help two adult pointers and eight puppies in the care of other Cyprus based rescue organisations. Group members also donated a total of £655 which we forwarded to Irene Scott in North Cyprus for Rhona, a dog in her care.
We received £50 from Tracy Caine’s Easter cake sale, £12 from Lisa’s pocket pouch sales, £30 from Nicola’s card sales, £35 from Emma Clegg and Ruth Hankins in memory of Oscar, £150 from Lottie Long Legs sales, £5 from Ashcroft Animal Accessories and £235 in general donations.
The April winner of the monthly draw who wins a Christine Cummings ceramic sculpture in our Pay It Forward fundraising event is Kelly Walsh Robinson.
We are launching our annual photo competition this month and the winning entries from it will feature in our 2022 calendar which will go on sale later this year along with three new Christmas card designs.
We welcomed 223 new members to our three groups (Rehoming Cyprus Pointers, Apollo’s Angels and Apollo’s Angels Events). There were a total of 43,797 posts, comments and reactions in those three groups during April.
The next summary will be posted 1st June.
